Cookie Policy
Last updated Jun 25, 2026.
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. We keep them to the minimum needed to run the site, and load analytics and advertising cookies only after you consent through our consent management platform (CMP), which is wired to Google Consent Mode v2.
Categories
- Strictly necessary — remember your cookie choice and keep the site secure. Always on; no consent required, and not used for profiling.
- Analytics — measure which calculators and guides are used, in aggregate (e.g. Google Analytics 4). Loaded only with your consent.
- Advertising & profiling (third-party) — support free access by showing ads (e.g. Google AdSense), limit repeated ads and measure performance. These are third-party cookies that may build a profile for ad personalization. Loaded only with your consent.
The figures you type into the calculators are processed in your browser and are not stored in cookies or sent to us.
Managing your consent
Until you accept, advertising and analytics storage stay denied. To change or withdraw your choice at any time, use Cookie preferences in the footer (also available here). Withdrawing consent stops further analytics and advertising cookies; cookies already set may persist until they expire or you clear them in your browser settings.
Retention
Strictly necessary cookies last only as long as needed to remember your preference. Analytics and advertising cookies follow the respective provider's retention settings (typically from the end of a session up to a couple of years). You can delete all cookies at any time through your browser.
